I have to say..Oh No!
Comments (15)Wow Stephania, that is one huge, beautiful, spiky bugger! Well done! But how are you going to get a ladder in there amongst all those plants at ground level, to get to the flowers for pollinating? - and still no buds at 2 metres high! Major garden surgery and reallocation of plants? Do you wear a spike-resistant body armour when attempting these feats? I admire your dedication - from a distance! Good luck with the pollinating. Cheers, Kerry...See MoreOh, no--another freeze warning!
Comments (20)I'm happy to report that our low was only 35 degrees this morning. I just wish the forecasters would be a little more accurate in predicting these "freeze warnings"...they upgraded my freeze watch to a freeze warning yesterday afternoon, said it would be below freezing for appx. 5 hours below 32 degrees and yet I was a degree warmer from the day before,lol...I don't mind being warmer than predicted but goodness there's a HUGE difference between 35 degrees to up to 5 hours of below 32! Its just SO much work covering all these plants when I didn't have too...Se la vie...Thanks for letting me vent about these inaccurate forecasting!...See MoreSay it ain't so...
Comments (9)Everything I've read here and at another forum frequented by tile professionals says "No, you cannot use any mastic in a shower, or any other location that might be subjected to moisture, or anywhere on a floor, or with natural stone tile" Furthermore, many times the bucket of mastic will avoid calling itself "mastic" and will instead be labelled "pre-mixed thinset". Don't be misled. The fact that kats hasn't seen a problem (yet) doesn't mean that there isn't a bumper crop of mold living and thriving in the mastic behind her tile....See Morefiestaware - say it ain't so
Comments (8)I, too, love cobalt. We have it at the lake. At our regular house, I have a variety of colors, 2 per color, because I know Fiesta often discontinues colors, and, if I break one discontinued, I only have to get 2 of a new color to maintain my stock of 10. But, ebay is always an option....See More- 8 years ago
