Kathy who?? Hi Dottie!! Waving madly! Well what a nice suprise! Horses and hubby are all fine. Banjo is growing and is 12.2 hands which is 50" at the withers (base of neck). He is still the sweetest little horse in the world and hopefully will be gelded (neutered) in the spring without much trouble. It's been too muddy to do much with the horses but I am there morning and night feeding them. Belle is the boss of all the horses even one that weighs twice what she does. Did 2 paintings for my cousin and am working on taxes now - joy joy!! I started taking riding lessons on some old horses at a riding stable. 2nd lesson is Saturday. First lesson I was on a black Percheron draft cross who is huge! My stirrup was 4' off the ground. I measured when I got off. I could not even kick him with my ankles because my feet stuck almost straight out! Next time I am on a normal horse I hope. My mom is doing great so I don't have too many complaints. I am usually just a lurker and say the requested prayers and special thoughts. Big grin from old windy, muddy PA! Hugs, Kathy

Hi Vicki, thanks for asking. No I haven't done a dedicated Iditarod post yet. I got home late Monday, March 9th, fought a bad cold for over a week and then last Wednesday had to go in for major dental surgery and tooth extraction which took a further toll on me. Add to that to a busy work schedule (It's nearly 9pm and I's still at work) and the fact that I spent the last two weekends recouping from one thing or another and I just haven't had much time to go through all of my photos yet. I did plan to post a small series of photos later tonight or early tomorrow morning before heading off to work. We'll see. Jodi-

Oh I am so happy that you were able to attend, it sounds like you had a lovely weekend. How wonderful that you were able to use your photography skills to commemorate the reunion - both for yourself and for the Elis too. (Wow that's the first time I was able to use that word outside of a crossword puzzle!) We do want more details and photos but that can wait until you're rested. And I can personally attest that Susan is youthful and beautiful in person too since we've met for lunch and hopefully we'll get together again later this summer.

On a Mac open the PDF file; right-click and choose "Open With"; select "Preview.app"; pull down the File menu and select "Export"; change the Format to JPG and select the desired quality to Best and 150 dpi. There are many free online PDF to JPG converters that allow you to choose the size/quality of the final JPG file. Here is a simple one Here is an example of PDF converted in Preview. If these methods don't work it may be because the PDF file was created at a low resolution (e.g. 72 dpi for screen viewing rather than printing).
