Thx everyone!! :) I am so under gun...I thought I would have another week to decide but the contractors want to start painting tomorrow BEFORE the cabinets go in. I decided to go with the darker shade in the pics....the Stratton Blue. I agree that the colors are not showing up well on the monitor. After the job is done, if I truly don't like it, I will take my time and try to consider a brownish gold tone like in the suggestions above. Part of me really wanted a spa-like calming blue which is why I am trying to work off the Palladian Blue card. olychick - I love that picture of the room with the palladian blue ceiling. I never even considered doing something like that and I really would love to know what the color is on those walls! That is really a gorgeous beautiful room! Soooooo if I hate the Stratton after it is all up and done, I will re-paint....

I think I have seen ever color I ever liked and you are so correct they look different under certain lights, monitors, etc. I see what you mean about choosing the undertone and sticking with that. THANK YOU! BM does offer a service - use to be free now they charge 15.00. I liked it better free b/c I think they did a better job!! You upload your pics to them and they send you 2 possible palettes - in my case 3 - and they pick all colors for you. Their first choice was FIELDSTONE for me which according to my swatch goes khaki (they send swatches..). Their second choice was Capallano Bridge which I do love but don't think it goes so great wtih the carera marble. Last choice was Shaker Grey which is REALLY deep but I actually do like it. annz - Thanks for your reply! Ideally I'd like more time to choose. I took Forever to pick the wall colors, and drove DH up a wall (I'm surprised we're still married - ha ha!). This is my way of sort of making it up to him, lol. Although Benjamin Moore has some no voc paints that we can get locally, we choose American Pride b/c it's supposed to be non toxic (we have a baby and are renovating the entire house - which we've yet to move into, so I'm trying to be as green and non toxic as possible). sueb20 - Thank you for your suggestions! Yes, I agree that we should paint the doors and trim the same color. (Thanks for setting me straight!) And, thank goodness that the ceiling doesn't need to match the trim exactly. Atrium White and Decorators White are very pretty, but the lighting in our home was not doing them justice. And so, the winner is - Simply White! It looks white, without any gray or blue tint to it. And I like how it has a touch of warmth - as most of our colors are warm, and we have a lot of northern light. It's not my favorite white for our one Beacon Gray bathroom, but it will still look nice. As for the bedroom that will have Mascarpone on the bottom - I'm still a little concerned there b/c Simply White is very close in color and doesn't "pop" like a cooler white would, but hopefully the semi gloss sheen will help with the contrast a bit. We'll see... Overall though, I think Simply White will work really great in our home, and I'm excited to see everything painted! Thank you all again for your replies! You're the best!! :)

I recommend taking your stone samples to the paint store. They could match one of the colors from the stone if that is what you desire. I would do a white venetian plaster finish to keep it white, bright and shimmering. I hope it turns out exactly like you want!
