Provenza vs. D&M Flooring

Hi everybody. Curious if anyone has experience with D&M Flooring (most known for their Royal Oak) vs. Provenza. We had settled on a Provenza Floor (Palais Royale in Toulouse color) with our designers over a year ago before our new home build started. But now the installer who will be putting the floor in said he had a client that had problems with it, and the problem resulted in a lawsuit with Provenza, and he is recommending D&M products as an alternative. Does anyone have good/bad experiences they can elaborate on with either Provenza or D&M? We are trying to get as close to a maintenance-free floor as possible.

Yes, go to the flooring forum, but whatever you do, don't buy the D & M Royal Oak flooring! There have been numerous complaints about the finish failing. I wish I had seen those before we bought it. The finish failed within a year and cost us thousands of dollars to have it fixed and refinished.

We are deciding between the provenza wood floor and the metroflor engage gensis 2000 luxury vinyl. What are your reviews/experience with either of these products? I have two small boys and a small dog. Which is more durable? what will withstand a family tough on floors? Are either more “clean” with air emission or do either pose a toxic threat? Any insight Good or bad, or recommendation on one over the other is appreciated!!!

I like to work with site finished hardwoods that are finished with Loba 2K Supra AT. It is one of the TOUGHEST AND GRIPPIEST wood finishes we have. It has the best anti-slip properties in the wood finish industry. It has a lovely silky-velvety feel to it that is VERY easy for animals to walk on. And because it is SUPER TOUGH it is VERY difficult for animals to mark up.

What is the issue with the floor you have? All the baseboards need to be removed no matter what flooring you choose so raising them a bit is not a big deal usually. The pink undertones you see in space are usually from either lighting or reflections from something and wall color is the last choice you make so if you find the flooring choice is hampered by the wall color then you need to just choose the floor you like outside in natural light . Then you make sure all your lighting inside is LED 4000K to mimic that light once the floors are chosen then the wall color.Your pics do not make it possible to read the names so maybe add some hand printed paper with the names . IMO narrow the search to 3 max It looks like you have 8 now. Then come back and we need pics of the space too. What is the flooring in the first pic?
