Best Retractable Screen Design

Who is making the best retractable screen design for large lift and slide doors - I've seen the more common brands like Phantom but see there are now other offerings like Wizard Vistaview and Centor S series?

I'm getting a Panoramic folding door, and they work with Brio window screens. These screens are interesting - they are pleated. Can't find reviews, though.

You may want to just keep the sliders and add screens if you want the cats to stay inside. I have Pella sliders with a screen that's on the interior side of the sliding door and I consider it perfect for use with pets. It can be latched/locked so there's no chance my cat can get outside. Since your cats are indoor/outdoor now, consider doing what holly mentioned. My cat has a cat door in the BR that opens to a wire tunnel. The tunnel then leads to a 10', six ft. high kennel that sits in the corner of the deck. Makes for a happy cat..........

I am Doug the Screen guy the owner of Screen Solutions Inc the maker of the Plisse screen. While we can never guarantee a pet will not find a way to get under our screens we have had good results lots of customers. Keep looking. If this is to be a main entrance to your home you want none of the above. Look into Marvin Ultimates or Kolbe Sterling and a Phantom screen. This being your main entrance is not a place to skimp (unless you want to redo it inside of 10 years). Get out of the box stores and find a window and door professional. Retractable Screen Doors : CASPER SCREENDOORS (casperscreens.com) If you want a dyi solution. They custom make for your door. It really looks good and not bulky or obvious like the ones sold at home improvement stores. I have one in my interior for a outswing door that no one notice till I point it out.

Looking at getting retractable screens for large sliders. I assume the housing can be integrated into the wall and will not stick out? I see there are regular screens and "pleated" or "accordion" style. Any thoughts on which works better? Are there preferred brands? TIA!

Hi, just wondering if you went with Wizard Vistaview? I’m in AZ and have a stacking three panel sliding door going to my patio. Two panels (6’ total for panels) stack on the inside of the third panel which is stationary. I’ve contacted local vendors for both Phantom and Wizard and I can’t find much customer feedback/reviews on Wizard Vistaview. Curious if anyone has any feedback they can share.
