I had a friend in a similar situation, but a different fridge height. She went to a really good local appliance store and they removed a piece of trim from one of the fridges to get that crucial half-inch! So examine everything that's removable, like feet, trim, etc. Then the delivery guys measured again before they slid it in. (I know from experience with this store that they would have taken everything back, no charge.)

Consider a privacy film for the door-the curtains take away from the pretty doors. I agree that the curtains are too stark. They're also too short and not full enough. If the curtains are 84", try 96" instead. Try to find something closer to the wall color. The gray, white and navy are a bit blah. Is there a color you like that you can add in with different pillows and a throw as suggested? I also agree that the coffee table is not quite right. I'd consider a round ottoman, maybe in leather, that you can add a tray to for drinks and a bit of decor. What is the distance inside the U shape? You could add a pretty demilune shaped table next to the door to ground the artwork. Please clarify this statement... "I like more war, colors like the beige or light tan to coordinate with each other." Also it is hard to recommend colors without some idea of the space and how the rooms relate to each other. Do you have a floor plan, sketch or pictures that you can post to help us give you ideas? Whole house open concept or 3 separate rooms with doors or clearly defined separations for different colors of paint. Also what color & type of flooring, furniture, cabinets, rugs, art etc... Without any of the above I can say I like the following colors & you might start your paint journey with:

You are not taking into consideration the direction from which the natural like comes. Undertones are what make one gray look different from another and because all daylight does not work with gray (or any other color) you need the correct undertone. What I see on my monitor is a green gray would work best with the tile and all the bright white. But if you light comes in from the North, that won’t work because North doesn’t love green.
