5 foot long sofa

I am in the process of decorating an outdoor office shed. I need a 5 foot long sofa. Anyone have any ideas? I want somewhere to lie down in case I need the area for sleeping/rest for children. The area needs this size at the maximum. thank you.

That’s a loveseat, not a sofa. And you can’t put upholstered pieces in non climate controlled spaces or you get mold. That’s what they make rattan for.

A loveseat is what you're looking for. Are you heating and cooling the space? I can't imagine you wouldn't.

Check with your city building codes department about wall footing requirements for your city. And ask the guy who gave you the brochure to explain how it can need less footing etc than traditional materials. When the *manufacturer* says maximum recommended height is 3 feet, he's got some explaining to do. "Engineered" usually means with rebar, concrete, mortar and deeper footings than a short stacked and glued wall.

For part of the year, Maximilian sunflower (Helianthus maximiliana ) will work. Grasses won't pop early enough, either, to screen. I wouldn't do bamboo even if you could find one to make it here. One of the first things you want to do is determine if the scratch involves the hardwood floors or is simply a scratch in the protective coating you have on the flooring. In fact, the scratch may simply be a mark in the shellac or the sealant you used to protect the finish. IKEA has a two seater outdoor sofa that might work.

For naps you'll prefer having padded arms to prop your head.
