I think if you put 5 or 6 lights in a chandlier - it would give alot of light. Maybe not as much a a porch light would - but I think it would be perfect . I have about 6 solar lights spaced around my deck - and at night - it lights up the whole deck.

I suspect you're unlikely to find what you want. Why? Based on my observation of solar-powered lights on bicycle paths, the solar panels have to be large (to generate enough electricity to charge the battery during the day) and the batteries have large (to store enough power to operate the light all night). With all this, you'd have an ugly residential pathway light! Fortunately, there are some great low-voltage path lights made or sold by Tech Lighting and Ylighting (and others, I'm sure). I'd get Dark Sky lights to illuminate only the area needed, avoid shining light in anyone's windows, and reduce light pollution.

Our HOA is changing the design of our front walkway. Currently there is a patch of soil to the left where I have solar lights. The patch is now going to be fully paved. I love solar lights on my walkway; are there any lights that can be used on pavement?

I would go to a good hardware store with one of the lights in hand and ask what kind of paint would be appropriate. If they don’t have one that suits your need for transparency and compatibility with the plastic, try somewhere like Michael’s or another hobby craft store.
