When you have many roses, drip irrigation is a must have in your garden. It's easy to say, however, I'm still working on my drip irrigation for a few years now. It's a work in progress because of other more important things. I'll share my experience here and please share yours.

I set up my first drip system by ordering online from DripWorks the "Rose & Shrub Irrigation Kit - Medium". It uses 1/2" mainline tubing. From this main tubing, you then connect to a 1/4" micro tubing to run to each rose. This 1/4" micro tubing is connected to a shrubbler. Below are the video link and pics

There is a learning curve for people who have never set this up before like me. However, the videos and instructions help a lot. From my personal experience, DripWorks makes great products. Everything fits perfectly. The down side is my local stores don't carry it so if you need a few parts, it's a hassle to place another online order on their website and pay for shipping.

I just checked Amazon website and DripWorks finally set up as a 3rd party seller. A rose medium kit listed as $84.95 on their website is listed as $99.91 on amazon with free shipping. So they just add the shipping cost to the product price, which is reasonable. I'll love to order DripWorks' products through Amazon . My next order will be the "Rose & Shrub Irrigation Kit - Large" which uses a 3/4" mainline tubing for more roses. Unfortunately, they don't offer this kit through Amazon yet. So I'll need to order directly from their website https://www.dripworks.com/rose-shrub-irrigation-kit-large

The next drip system I used is Raindrip and it's sold locally at OSH and other local stores. From my personal experience, the quality isn't as good as DripWorks'. Some of the parts that are used at the beginning of the system connecting to the water faucet don't fit correctly. However, if you just need to extent your DripWork, you can use the mainline tubing, micro tubing and shrubblers. There won't be any problem. I'll share more my progress of this year. Helen
