Is this Painting too large?
Comments (13)It looks good. When you get ready to hang it, try rotating your chairs so they move 1/8 way around the table. That way, the backs of the chairs won't be flat against the walls and won't interfere with the frame of the painting. Otherwise, you may have to hang it too high to clear the chairs....See MorePainting on large wall too small?
Comments (8)I'd add a large, wide frame. I'd also center it on the wall, not above the chairs. Centering it will eliminate the larger empty spot on one side and make it look less small to you. It will also be centered above that whole furniture/sitting area, not just the chairs....See MoreHow hang a large canvas painting that's not stretched with bars?
Comments (29)From a link in the above article: New Jersey artist Clinton Hobart discovered counterfeits of his painting "Three Persimmons" were for sale on a website based in China. "In a gallery, this would sell for about $450 unframed to $500 framed," Hobart says. But the counterfeit online is $23.99. "No artist wants to find that someone is taking their stuff and is passing it off as their own," he says. ************************ Yep. I can absolutely imagine how infuriating this is to the real creators of the artwork being copied. I'm beginning to see how wrong this is, and to think that American businesses are the biggest buyers of the fakes? Incredible....See Morehow high to hang painting
Comments (4)It looks bigger in person. However this is the biggest this art comes. So I’m going to use it. With frame it’s 38x49. I hung it 44 inches up. The center of art is coming to 63 inches...is it too high? Should I go down to make it 60?...See MoreSaypoint zone 6 CT
