Comments (4)Does the local artist have another piece available? Or is that out of your budget for now? If you have to find something inexpensive now, I'd consider a large engineering print from your local Staples. If you have an Ikea near you, buy the largest frame there you can afford and have an engineering print made to fit. Comments (24)Laura I think your upstairs art over that sofa is fine as is. Lovely set-up. Go ahead and keep the clutter pillows if you love them but don't be offended if guests with bad backs (hi there) need to put them on the floor in order to be comfortable. Go for a more layered look with some warm accents, and find a painting that also has some warm colors in addition to the cool tones you seem to like.
