which area rug for my bedroom?
Comments (14)The tan/blue sample blends with the fabric of your bed and your wallcolor and won't draw a lot of attention to itself. It will look like bound carpet. The trellis pattern will look more like an area rug. Right now your room is very neutral feeling with subtle touches of blue. The blue trellis will boost the blue factor in the room quite a bit. It would look great. If you think it will be too much blue for you, select the linen/ivory trellis. Then you will have versatility to change up the color scheme of the room in the future if the mood strikes you....See MoreBusy pattern chair-area rug dilemma

Comments (14)Freedomplace1-love how you can put the rug in the room! I didn't like the last one, I thought I'd like a more blue rug, but after seeing it in the room, I don't think I like a mainly blue. I'm going to look for a rug w/ more natural neutral colors, some blue, something that is rich in color but maybe w/ the lighter color....if any of that makes sense :) The 1st, 2nd & 3rd ones are my faves along w/ the last one Jinx posted....See MorePlease help me visualize wall, rug, etc.
Comments (9)Not seeing your entire space, it is hard for me to clearly judge the best options for you. I am also assuming this is your dining room, but I could be wrong. At any rate, I like your red accent, and red is a very good color to have in dining areas - which is why it is often used in restaurants and eateries. You have good instincts! I don’t know if you could do a wall color that could be isolated to just that area. If so, I feel a grey could be dramatic - and I am generally the last person to recommend grey for wall color. But I feel like it could possibly work here, if it could be somehow isolated to that area. I don’t want you to turn your house into a grey walled house, throughout. :) I am seeing the grey in this case as serving more along the lines of an accent for your space; accent walls, so to speak. And it may also serve to give the area more definition....See MoreYayagal
