Flavor/taste of Shiranui vs Ponkan?

Hi guys, I've finally gotten around to making my citrus wishlist and have added both the Shiranui as well as Ponkan to the list. I've had the chance of trying a Shiranui fruit and found the Shiranui interesting but strange because of the complete lack of acidity. It wasn't bad but I didn't go ham on the flavor. I liked how crisp and plump the pulp was but maybe the flavor was very light because it wasn't properly ripened?
I'd like to compare the flavors of both these varieties since the Shiranui is a child of the Ponkan. And since I've only tried the Shiranui, I don't want to immediately assume they are similar just because they're directly related. Can anyone chime in on how the taste and flavor of the Shiranui compares with the Ponkan?
