Well you've been busy! It looks so much better with the bushes gone and the shutters off at the door. I think you can solve the imbalance with landscaping and making the front door more of a focal point with the right color and a tall pot between it and the window. You could also add some large address numbers in black to the left of the door.

What is missing from you house is foundation plantings. Get a plan together an plant in the fall after the heat wave is over. Plant far enough away from the foundation to allow the plants to mature. Paint the secondary door the same dark brown. There is so little trim showing, I would leave it brown along the roofline. I would leave the brick wall directly in front of the empty. It will give it more emphasis, But plant some low growing bushes along the walkway. Next year, in early spring add annuals for long lasting color. Can you paint the window frames and the frame around the door? If yes, the I would paint that trim a creamy off white, a really pale tan. Or if the windows are an tan color you can match that and paint the brown trim I think I see around the windows. They will show better. The two small windows could use shutters - one half the size of the window. Paint them a gray blue or black. Paint the front door the same blue.

Yep we had a wonky 1890 home now we are in a wonky 1910 home and just bought a really wonky 1956 home !!! I won't even show you the bathroom and what the PO did to it....think beautiful pristine pink tile and they painted the grout with black latex to simulate a black and pink color scheme....guess what I am going to be doing >? Keep it the way it is. I didn't even notice.
