TruPet, LLC of Milford, OH, is voluntarily recalling a limited amount of Treat Me Crunchy Beef Delight, 2.5oz pet treats because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella -- Lot # 20190514 13753. The products were distributed in the continental USA via online retailer Chewy.com and TruDog.com and through direct delivery.

Carnivore Meat Company of Green Bay, WI, is voluntarily recalling a limited amount, 73 cases, of “Vital Essentials Freeze-Dried Beef Nibblets Entrée for Dogs” pet food because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella -- Lot #13753. The products were distributed in the continental USA through independent retailers and via online retailers Chewys.com and Amazon.com and through direct delivery.

Northwest Naturals of Portland, Oregon is recalling 5lb frozen Chicken and Salmon pet food chubs because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Product is packaged in 5lb frozen chubs labeled Chicken and Salmon Dog Food with a UPC code of 0 87316 38440 6 and a product best buy date code of 15 082218. The affected product was 1 isolated batch of 94 cases distributed to distributors in California, Washington, Texas, Michigan, Georgia, and Rhode Island and sold thru specialty pet retail stores.

The FDA is alerting pet owners about potential pentobarbital contamination in certain canned dog foods manufactured by The J.M. Smucker Company. This includes certain cans of Gravy Train, Kibbles ‘N Bits, Ol’ Roy, and Skippy brands.

Redbarn Pet Products, LLC of Long Beach, CA has expanded its voluntary recall to include additional products after the initial recall of the 7-inch Bully Stick three pack, because of the potential for Salmonella contamination.

Raw Basics, LLC. of Pleasant Prairie, WI is recalling 540lb of 5lb Pork-Bison Boxes because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Product affected was isolated to 1 lot of 540 lbs (108 boxes) and distributed to distributors in Minnesota, Georgia, Kansas, and Pennsylvania. These products were sold at pet specialty retail stores.

The J.M. Smucker Company announced a limited, voluntary recall of specific lots of two varieties of Milo’s Kitchen® dog treats, distributed nationally, because the products potentially contain elevated levels of beef thyroid hormone.

Darwin’s Natural Pet Products announced it is voluntarily recalling a total of four lots of products after testing showed that some of the Chicken and Duck with Organic Vegetables Meals for Dogs may contain Salmonella, and the Turkey with Organic Vegetables Meals for Dogs sample may contain Salmonella and E. coli O128.
