would you consider this house small or large?
Comments (9)For me, the width and length don't matter. It's HOW the inside layout functions for YOUR needs. In my opinion as a member of a family of four, 2800 square feet is a great size. It's average. There are many that live in smaller homes and many in larger. Is that total square feet or living (air conditioned) square feet? We moved from a house that was about 2500 square feet. I never felt it was too small at all. But the functionality wasn't there. We're now building bigger but that's because we added some things, not because we couldn't have lived with less space. 2800 is just fine as long as the layout is functional....See MoreCarpet▪what should I consider when choosing
Comments (8)I would go for nylon. Nylon fiber is non absorbent. It is a little bit more expensive than poly, but holds up better and cleans easier. I just clean mine with hot water. No soap. Also half of the carpet durability is the pad underneath. Spring for the best pad. Also buy 5 or better twists. per inch in the fiber. Also spread the fibers on each carpet, you will notice some are denser than others. The backing will show more on some carpets than others. Less backing showing the better the carpet. More fibers per sq inch the better. There is many different types of piles. Each person has their favorite. Mine is plush. I don't mind vacuum lines at all....See MorePlease HELP! Comments (8)Get some sample charts and hold them up and see which ones really appeal to you. Once you do that, get some sample paint and put on poster paper and move it around the room, in all sorts of light, and narrow it down. You may like a bit more color than browns, tans, grays and whites, which can actually look pretty bland and boring, unless you have some nice colorful accessories to brighten things up....See MoreWhat paint color would you choose - honey oak trim, greige carpet?
Comments (6)Ohhhhhh no. I did not use any specific colors. Just to show some options. Blue gray reads close to Web Gray SW https://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family/SW7075-web-gray You might want to go with lighter color on the same strip....See MoreMarigold
