HELP!!! Injured Goat!!!!
Comments (11)I don't raise goats but wouldn't it be easier to look at the other end to determine it's sex? Get some Absorbine Jr. Equine Linament and put it on, and rub, rub rub for about 15 minutes and then wrap it with a piece of towel and vet wrap (the self sticking bandage) for a day and repeat again. This will draw the fluid out. If's it's been kicked or maybe horned by another herd member, separate it for a day or two. I've done the above with my donkey's when they are lame with swelling... good luck , simple me...See MoreWe need Monarch wings to help injured Monarchs!

Comments (3)Yiou don't say where you live but I hope you find help and that you have hummers during the winter time. If not, you are probably going to have to raise it through the cold weather. You didn't ID the bird either so I am assuming it is a Ruby throated. Sorry, I don't have any help to give other than knowing they eat insects and need both nectar and protein to live. You must be doing it some good since its still alive. How was/is it hurt? Can it fly at all?...See MoreHelp! Injured caterpillar!
Comments (13)Hi all, thanks for your helpful comments. I know it sounds silly but I felt bad for it. I usually don't interfere with nature but it was going to be eaten. It was lovely and walking around on my hand for ages. Tauryn, I left it on a dock leaf as this is what the Ermine moth in my region eat. I checked on it a couple of times and it was moving. It fell off the dock onto the soil so I left it instead of touching it again. ( I hid it slightly so birds wouldn't get it) Anyway, I went out to check on it today and it's gone so I am hoping it healed up and went to pupate !...See MoreUser
