We have specified BM Simply White for all the trim in the home. But my builder may have another color he uses to make everything pop according to his wife. I also could do a metallic ceiling in gold in faux paint with the darker paint on the walls. We are looking to do some faux paint texture in there with the darker color... but have no idea how that would look or if they can even do the colors mentioned above. I am waiting to hear back from the Faux Painter. In the meantime, I just turned in my final colors for the home. The Benjamin Moore website has the shades. I just google “Benjamin Moore shaker beige” and got them. https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/find-your-color/color/hc-45/shaker-beige?color=HC-45 (In my limited experience with Benjamin Moore paint chips, the colors that come on the single color chips also come on the chips with multiple shades somewhere in another collection.)

Is there reliable electricity? Here's my take: Either make it legit or don't make it year around. Legit means that you could leave it for a while and have reasonable expectation that it's not going to freeze. Legit also probably means insulation everywhere there is supposed to be insulation (yeah, I'm talking about that roof and the floor). Enclose the plumbing with a well insulated crawl space AND use heat tape or a small electric heater in the space. Even then you have the issue of things freezing above (toilet trap, etc) when you are gone. What's the plan for above the floor line? I don't know how old you are now, but that kind of nonsense isn't much fun as the decades roll along. Insulation and base heat will mean much less cutting wood, and no frozen pipes. Use the time now to insulate it properly or don't use it year around.

Depends on how the 2 materials line up. Probably a flat one if the are the same height. I'd also try to add some kind of handle, either recessed or a regular handle if it is close to the back.
