Wolf E Series vs. L Series Double Wall Ovens
Comments (10)I have the series E double oven. We opted for the series E primarily because of budget issues---I seem to recall it was an $800 difference. What you give up in the series E is only one oven is convection (upper only---lower is a standard oven), and aesthetics (handle design, control panel design, etc). Because I only use convection in one oven at a time (can't crank out more that the three sheets of cookies it holds at a time), I didn't feel I was losing any functionality. I did slightly prefer the look of the L series, but decided it wasn't worth the price. Haven't regretted the decision for a second. The ovens are terrific....See MoreQuestion for Wolf E series oven or Gaggenau 280 serie oven owners
Comments (0)Would love to know your experience with either of these ovens. I have had 2 Gaggenau ovens for over 10 years that I have loved. I am doing an extensive kitchen remodel and planned to update the Gaggenua ovens with newer models but the appliance store I use no longer carries that line and service is not readily available in my area. Therefore, I decided to go with the Wolf E series ovens. I keep having second thoughts because I love the side opening door of my Gaggenau's and have so enjoyed cooking and baking with them for so many years. I am not interested in the combi version of the Gaggenua ovens... just the regular convection ovens. Some of the changes they have made to the Gaggenua ovens such as not having integrated rack holders anymore have made me think that I might not like the newer model as much as I like my older ovens. Also... when I purchased them years ago they were state of the art with convection being rather new back then. Would love to know your thoughts... especially regarding how you like your Wolf oven for baking....See MoreHas anyone had experience with the Wolf E or M series ovens?
Comments (0)I am remodeling my kitchen and am looking at the Wolf E and M series ovens and I am wondering if the M series is really worth the difference in price. I like the Master Chef option but I like to plan my meals and timing and I want to know how long something is going to take to cook and what temperature it is cooking at. I am also wondering if a less expensive oven may be better so I can save a little on the appliances. I am getting Sub Zero panel ready column fridge and freezer and a Wolf 36" rangetop but my appliances do not need to all be the same brand. Thank you!...See MoreHas anyone ordered the new Wolf E series oven?
Comments (3)@Kelley Dockrey I was never able to get more info on that new E series oven. My project design has taken longer than expected, and now my kitchen location has changed, and I don't know yet if I have room for two ovens separate from the rangetop. So, I had decided on the Miele, and I am still planning on that--the 30" convection, plus the 24" CSO, but I won't know for sure until the redesign is finished....See Moreartistandcook
