sun Room ideas please

I would like PALE yellow wall color. No wicker. Traditional furniture. Love seat or couch, chairs perhaps ottoman, end table for lamp or lamps, possible standing lamp. And greenery(artificial but high quality). Coffee table. Help.

Comments (13)What a pretty room! Do you live there year 'round or is this your summer place? I am in Michigan (GR) and spend a lot of time at the big lake. How many people do you typically entertain, and what kind of entertaining? Dinner? Drinks only? Just hanging out? What is in the armoire? I like the idea to replace the armoire with a chair, or if you frequently have people over for beverages, maybe it could be the drink station. For large gatherings, you could place a table through the middle of the room with chairs on both sides. That is what we do in our sunroom for Thanksgiving and it works out really well. Comments (9)I have a dark charcoal painted living room connected to a slightly lighter but still deep blue/green sunroom. I found it much more soothing than the yellow my previous owners painted it. Yellow never feels natural to me however a green, blue or grey resembles nature (trees, sky and water) more accurately in my opinion. Comments (13)I love @ratherbeatthebeach suggestion to move the white shelves under the TV and put the rattan bookcase where the white shelves are now. I was thinking the same thing. If it were me, I'd find another home for the filing cabinet thing in the sunroom and go for low furniture that doesn't block the windows. I would definitely put at least one or maybe two chairs in the sunroom with a side table for coffee / tea / whatever beverage. I love @lisedv Ikea rattan chair suggestion. And then I love @lisedv mockups with lining the room with plants using plant stands and pots on the floor. Alternatively you could put a low bench or two under a window to use as a plant stand. I think you can put whatever furniture you want in a sunroom -- it doesn't have to be wicker -- ours has two leather chairs and an ottoman -- it's a small room off our bedroom and has a wall of books so it's like a TV room. We have leather because that's what we had.
It is a small room as you can see.
But it doesn't have wicker!

A phony plant in a sun room makes no sense at all and if you are actually planning on using the space invest in some solar shades and since the space gets so much light I would choose another color instead of yellow.The reason you see so much wicker in sun rooms is that the sun ruins fabric and wood very quickly that is why I say solar shades to keep the view but block heat and UV rays.
