Should I get this media dresser for my bedroom?
Comments (10)Thanks everyone! Les917 - that is a beautiful beautiful beautiful piece!!! I think it is not wide enough though. Cindyloo123 - You are right, we need something on the tall side - we need approx. 3 feet high and want 4 feet wide to balance the width of the TV. Hubby had run all the wiring for the cable box and we really don't want to hang anything above the TV. We want some sort of cabinet/bookshelf/table/whatever for underneath the TV to hold the cable box but not show any of the icky wires. I am a sucker for painted/distressed furniture and I am glad to see many of you suggesting I go that route. Originally I did think that black might work, but with the kinds of fabrics that I am leaning towards with bedding/drapery, I think that vanilla or creamy colors might be best. I still am not even close to finalizing decision on the fabrics but I do know that I want lighter kinds of colors as opposed to dark. aktillery - that link did not work for me...See MoreHow high can/should I hang my ceiling mounted rain shower head?
Comments (11)Dragonflygirl girl, in my experience, water pressure in the water coming out of the pipe no longer has much influence on how ”hard” the water falls in a rainhead. My thinking is that the water ”uses up” some of the kinetic energy it gained from being under pressure in the pipe in the effort to spread out in the 12” diameter rain head. I don’t think having the water in the pipe until it is closer to your head matters much for pressure. In cold weather, though, I think that it does have a noticeable influence on the temperature of the water that hits your body. I might seriously consider a longer down pipe....See MoreWhere to hang a framed picture in my MBR ?
Comments (7)Thank you all, The night stand lamps sit on the night stands and a matching pair. The wall where the high boy dresser (my husband's dresser) is is not wide enough for my dresser and the TV is mounted above the high dresser so switching dressers isn't doable. Mimipadv, maybe I need to get a taller lamp for my dresser (or do away with it all together) ?...See MoreHow high should I hang my light in a stairway?
Comments (4)Really depends on where fixture will be placed in stairwell. When electrician is there to install, just stand back with someone else to provide their opinion as well. Electrician can also be a good source....See MoreUser
