Of course, as happens for me at any parade, no matter where I'm located, the band never plays when they're in front of me! This pic is from the Big E.

8 years agoWent to the Flower Show yesterday morning - was there when the doors opened for the Members Preview. Apparently some bus tours had to cancel due to storm damage and the crowd was relatively small. It was glorious.
This isn't the best photo but a friend of mine does a large display every year and I always marvel at his creativity.

My Monster Tillier, I cut him down from 8 ft. to 3 ft. this year, but I'm sure he'll be back to 8 ft. by the end of summer.

8 years agoIrma, in case Summer doesn't see this, I will answer. Brunnera (also known as Bugloss) is a perennial (at least here in Ohio). It gets little blue flowers on it. And it spreads like crazy! Here is a picture of mine. I have both solid and variegated.
