Comments (11)I'm going for it....I think it will be fun and she will smile for days!! Yes, she has a digi camera, so maybe we can get some pictures! Thanks for shoreing me up....I was afraid that maybe I had gone too far into la-la land! ;^) PS: Her special kind of cake....since childhood, has been pineapple upside down cake, so I won't be able to decorate it too well.............however, it WILL have POLKA DOTS :^)...See MoreDo you name your car?
Comments (28)We have always named every one of our vehicles, even before we were married. They become part of the family, so why not name them. Hubby's car is a brown volvo wagon, so Brownie is its name. My car is a bright yellow Ford Scion named Tweety. He's my "Tweety Mobile" and has Tweety decals on the doors, Tweety floormats and license plate frame, and Tweety things inside....See MoreOT/Does your house have a name?
Comments (59)I was reluctant to buy our first house which the realtors called Hidden Hollow. It was a small cape on 5 gorgeous acres 45 miles from NYC. I grew to love it. 22 years later we were ready to move and I found our current house on a day when DH was traveling. I fell madly in love with the house and the land. DH came to see it and picked it apart. There was an oil stain on the garage floor and assorted other "problems" that he could find. Finally he said that since he had kind of pushed me into our first house he would sacrifice and purchase this house. The house is now called "Billy's Sacrifice." I made a sign. He truly loves the house now. The sign is hidden in the trees....See MoreWhat is your car's 'name'?
Comments (44)I've named trees, but I don't think I have ever named a car. I guess I could tho. I have a black Dodge Dakota pickup....Dude comes to mind. Jody has a tan Chevy pick up....looks like a Glenn to me. Oh, yeah....we have a bright yellow (school bus yellow) old dodge truck. I think I have called it "Old Yeller" a few times....as well as a few other choice words. I bet it doesn't get 6 miles to the gallon! And there is a Taurus here, that Jody plans to give away. The only name I can think of for it is..."B*tch." That is the worst car we have ever owned, and we've had some bad ones. Jody bought it for our daughter, but it was never relieable enough to give to her. We spent 3 times the money it was worth, working on it. And, BTW, it belonged at one time to Jody's first love, who jilted him and married someone else....just a co-incidence. I told him, "I don't know if you ever went to bed with her, but she sure ******* you."...See Morebpath
