Can anyone describe the taste of the Valentine Pomelo?

Hi All,

I may finally bite the bullet and put up a greenhouse for the winter months (although the deal I've struck with the other half requires me to take it down for the warm months so we can enjoy our roof deck in the summer without a greenhouse on it). If I'm going to have a greenhouse, it seems like a great opportunity to grow a pomelo, grapefruit, or hybrid! I think I'm leaning towards the Valentine.

Can anyone describe the Valentine's flavor profile? Does it have nice tartness or mandarin / blood orange flavor to balance out the mellow pomelo heritage?

My ideal pomelo / grapefruit would be both sweet AND tart but also something that I can ripen in Seattle's spring / summer (highs in the 70s and 80s most of the summer with 2-14 days per year in the 90s and more sun than the plant will ever want by May / June). I've had Oroblancos and they were a bit mild for my taste (lower in acid for sure than I like and a little low in sugars).

Thanks as always for the advice!
