What faucet with my mini corner bathroom sink?
Comments (10)It's expensive, but look at the Samuel Heath single-hole tap. Purty. Also expensive but I really like this porcelain-lever one. For less cash, check out this cute monoblock with the soapdish on top - it looks small enough. Kohler's Bancroft model might work too, and would be easy to get locally and return it if it doesn't fit. In the middle cost-wise, try St. Thomas Creations 8190 (I prefer the porcelain handles). I think it looks smaller than the other double-handled single-holers. The Porcher Reprise might do it for you too....See MoreHand towel location dilemma for tiny bathroom
Comments (5)Totally get the frustration! Both our bathrooms are small and we had a lot of "where do we hang the towel' dilemmas too, especially as we have a pocket door in our main bathroom so can't put things on the back of it. We ended up with a small towel bar mounted over the vanity on an adjacent wall, and a heated towel rack on the one free wall so that we could hang multiple towels vertically and folded and they would actually dry. We almost had a TP holder mounting crisis and the place we've had to mount it is strictly much closer to the toilet than is recommended, but it looks and feels fine. A folded towel right on top of the toilet isn't super appealing, but a nice shelf above the toilet with a folded towel on it might work? My parents have two tiers of towel bars (not hooks) on the back of their bathroom door. which is in fact pretty functional. Annoying you can't get a robe hook in beside the shower!...See MoreSmall bathroom / tub configuration dilemma
Comments (6)I am not a lover of old tubs and I like saokers . But that said I need a to scale floor plan of the whole space and also what is next to it and out the hall. There is no way to know what size tub without gutting the space BTW and forget corner tubs never a good choice.I think you have space for the length since that cabinet storage can be removed. Gut the bathoom then you will see exactly how much space you have. Find a friend where you can shower and get the pumber to make sure the toilet functions every night....See MoreHelp please! Comments (12)What are the dimensions of the room? A drawing showing measurements would help. Just trying to get a sense of the space and what is meant by "slight bend" in wall. You might consider painting the walls and doors to match the tile, and paint the little black tiles to match as well. If you want to lessen the contrast, you could paint the vanity a gray that complements the vanity top and tiles. Or paint the walls gray like I did in the mockup below (the gray I picked is a little off). Do you need the bulky shelf? Might be housing plumbing? As to mirror, you could have a custom cut mirror fill the wall above the vanity. A fun alternative would be to remove the tile from the walls, replace the floor and install a bold wallpaper. Go all in on maximalism... Some inspiration... This color palette might actually work with your tile......See MoreChelsea H
