So the R models play well in kept yards as they have a bit more going on both transmission and deck drives. Not to say they are inadequate for most yards, just not for the guy who is trying to tame what was cow pasture last month. Bagging is efficient and there is a meter type thing to help keep you from stopping up the system. Just be mindful of that possibility. Dumping the grass on an easy type catcher will require more room. Think of where you will back up and dump the grass. For the times where you would like to simply discharge the grass, they have a kind of neat rear discharge chute which snaps on in place of the bag. It is one of those things that you either like or hate how it performs. The jury is still out. A mulch kit is available which you have to lift the machine or remove the deck to install. Just get a Cyclone rake for your GX325 it will only set you back about $1500 and you will have a super accessory for both grass and leaves. The hose from the tractor to the Cyclone rake is easily detached to get through a small gate.
