I bought a table like this with the legs cut down to use as a coffee table. I did not have to worry about how the kids would use it in our family room, and it was just the right size.

Put it in high light, use good quality water, do NOT over water, do NOT allow water to rest upon the leaves or the crown at night, err on the dry side. -MB

Looks like a holly but it would help a lot to know where you live (region, USDA zone). Is it evergreen and are the leaves fairly stiff?

Value would depend on better information than I have -- also your area. I know consignors in my area have difficulty selling sets like that because they don't fit in with smaller, modern, busy lifestyles. Also, it is not in pristine condition. I would ask antique dealers or furniture consignors in your area.
