I need help chosing colors...front door & shutters
Comments (25)Hi! I am quietly observing! Ha! You are all right in some way---the roof is definately gray. The door is NOT centered and the mailbox does belong to the left of the door (the wider side). I really don't know what the original builders were thinking to not make it centered, but it was going to entail way too much to change it when we resided. Our intensions are to put the house up for sale this summer/fall. We bought it and slowly redid the entire house inside and out-now we're feeling the need to get to the country - and likely start all over again! :) With all of that said-I'm not looking to spend a TON of money, but we will definately be painting the porch, putting the window boxes up, painting the door, putting new lights/lanterns up, and a new mailbox mounted to the house. Thank you so much for all your help...I will definately post pictures of our progress!! We're starting on it this weekend!...See MoreNeed help picking shutter, garage door and front door colors!!
Comments (6)This is a recommended color from SW for Mindful Gray…homburg gray. I would do this on the shutters and the garage doors and leave the wood door as is. The two middle windows shouldn’t have shutters as the won’t fit appropriately, but you are not painting the siding and the darker outlines of the shutters will show if you don’t replace what was there. Personally, would like the house with out shutters and would probably paint the siding and garage doors and have no shutters at all....See MoreExterior front door/shutters Photoshop help needed
Comments (0)Looking for suggestions for front door color, shutters, and garage door. My daughter bought this home in winter so landscaping will need to be addressed this spring, if it ever warms up !! Are shutters attractive with this house design? Kids have talked about removing them. The roof has a gray green color. Can someone photo shop this for me? I would like to introduce a white front door and side lights. Taupe or brown shutters, should shutters match garage door which needs a new paint color? Or paint everything white? Or why white? Gray green? Thank you...See MoreNeed help with trim, shutter and front door color selection
Comments (11)Is the paint color an off white (cream)? If so, you color options are basically endless, depending what color your roof is or if you have any brick or stone on the house. When choosing paint colors for my house a couple of years ago, I kept in mind the color of stone on the front of my house, the brick on my chimney color, and my green roof. I then went to Behr's website and played with color combinations and found something that both my husband and I agreed on. With the color of your house in mind and what looks like a dark roof, maybe black, there are so many color combinations you could go with. Here are some photos for inspiration: I absolutely love the colors on this house. More importantly--What colors do you and your family love? Next is a photo of my house since I could not find any other photos that would suit your house on Houzz. I chose paints from Behr Marquee and the house color is Taupe Tease, trim is Superior Blue (my husband's favorite color), and the doors are Fire Cracker Red (my favorite color): All 3 colors work well together and work with the roof, brick, and stone colors as well. I also chose colors that no one else had in our neighborhood....See MoreLuci Gabrielle
