WANTED: San Antonio Spring Plant swap April 5th
Comments (123)Newish to SA by way of the DoD. Just saw this posting. Bought a new house and have been going crazy with landscaping, granted it seems to be a tad different than what you all do. Is this once a year or other? If once a year, would there be interest next uear for any of the following: Goji berry Honeyberry Blueberry southern Pink lemonade blueberry Brown turkey fig Everbearing fig Pineapple guava Named versions of dragonfruit (purple haze, American beauty, and another. May have other types ready to propagate by then) Pomaagranet If I can acquire good root stalk I have some great, sweet kumquats, sutsumi. Can not guarantee Meyers lemon would be ready. Loquat And this bush that grow REALLY good here. Stayed green all year and has maroon/reddish thistle haired type of flower or something. Pretty sure I can root cuttings as this thing grew from 2ft to about 5ft in 8 months And if interested may pull up rootball for this black leaved crape myrtle. It was planted in yard, thought it was dead in the winter and mowed over 3" new growth. Just seeing as some of my stuff may take time to graft or root....See MoreHAVE: Austin/SanAntonio Spring Swap April 5
Comments (22)I will bring the love grass somebody wants and I will try to dig up some other ornamental grasses. I'm bringing a few banana trees and some rosemary that rooted itself. I also have some mystery plants that I hope someone can identify. It rained (and hailed) heavily this morning so we'll see what else I can dig up this evening. I also have lots of 4" pots I can bring. Charlotte, I would like some of your white obedient plant. Patty, if you see this in time, bring me a red columbine. As usual I will bring sausage and rice. It will be good to see everyone tomorrow. Carla...See MoreSan Antonio Spring Swap April 6, 2013
Comments (8)We'll keep bumping this up until we're pretty sure everyone in the area has seen it and active pre-trading gets underway on the Exchange Forum. However, not all trades will be prearranged. Many will take place on the day of the swap....See MoreAustin/San Antonio Plant Swap April 21st
Comments (4)Yes, this is the Buda swap group who is moving to Manchaca. We welcome anyone from anywhere to come to our swap and we try our best to have it a different day than the swap in San Antonio! Sorry I couldn't decide how to word the title of the post. I tried to put a link in exchanges but I don't see it. If it doesn't show up soon could someone post for me? Sometimes it won't let me post in both areas for some reason. Looking forward to seeing every one at the swap!...See Moreloreleicomal
