Comments (14)I have the PB Basic Loveseat, loveseat sleeper and chair and ottoman - The furniture's great - but the covers have not worn well and I've only laundered them twice in the 4 years I've had them - I have the canvas because I thought they would do better-- but I have 2 children and I went with the stone color - my bad - I now want to change to a darker color - and it is A FORTUNE !!!! Almost cheaper to buy new furniture! I have been searching and searching for knock offs - I went on ebay but no luck - The search continues -- but be carfeul - go dark and strong if you have kids. ALso - if they are not being placed on a rug - but going on a wood floor - put grippers on the feet because they slide!!!...See MorePottery Barn Vanities, does anyone have one? Cross posted
Comments (6)Jmc01, I don't have the exact dimension of the room at the moment, but when measured we are able to fit a single 42" or 36" vanity. I would prefer the 42" because I want to get as much storage as possible. The layout of my home is very unique and different from most 1900s homes, we do not know the exact year it was built, but have a photograph of our home dated 1903 and there were only 3 other homes on the entire street and a horse and buggy in front of the house. The current bathroom is not original and was updated in the early 1950s. I would've been content with my vintage bathroom but a major shower leak made us rip out the tile to dry out the rotted sub floor and we now have to start over. Rockybird, I looked at the vanities on RH but couldn't find exactly what I wanted there. DH and I are now looking into a custom cabinet, even though it was not the route we wanted to take, it is the only way we are guaranteed solid wood construction. We have 3 children and this is our main bathroom and it needs to hold up. I'm worried about MDF getting wet and warping with 3 kids brushing teeth or doing lord knows what in there. I once found my 10 year old giving our daschund a bath in the bathroom sink-lol, so I need durability....See MorePottery Barn Indio Outdoor Dining Patio Furniture anyone?
Comments (36)We have had a partial order of our Indio Metal Dining set and Lounge chairs delivered. (the rest is on backorder) While everything looks nice one of the Chaise lounge chairs and a couple of the dining chairs their legs do not all lign up and so there is a slight wobble to the chair. Both Chaise lounge chairs (not kept under the patio) have been rained on, while they look fine they are retaining water inside the aluminum construction of the chair. While i know aluminum does not rust, however aluminum can corrode over time. I am wondering if this is going to compromise the longevity of the chair? Again everything looks great, the quality of the product leaves us second guessing the purchase decision. Coming from a major designer/retailer like Pottery Barn this is a really big disservice to the customer confidence. i am looking forward to seeing how Pottery Barn addresses the situation. and here are a couple boring videos i took of the chair leaking water, the chairs are on their side and about 2 days after the last rain event. And yes the videos are like watching paint dry.. looks nice...See MoreOpinions on Pottery Barn Big Sur sofa
Comments (188)I've owned several PB couches and I 'almost' bought the Carmel with chaise which is basicaly a slighter version of Big Sur which I also considered. Nope, I'm not risking it. I'm on the verge of ordering a Dream Sofa. The cushions have a three year replacement warranty. There are enough reviews on Reddit and here for me to feel comfortable. We know the depth and firmness we like and they offer multiple types of cushion densities. Their site doesn't' have many 'real' pictures but I spoke personally with a rep who sent me customer picks of the model I was interested in and I am super impressed. They are also sending me samples of their entire line of fabrics in the color range I'm interested in for free. The two performance samples I've tested were easy to clean and attractive. The price for my choices is less than PB w/premium fabric....See MoreKara Pavoni
