I finished it with Original Waterlox. ci_lantro - that sink is a great find and the website has lots of alternatives. That particular sink is an overmount. Their accessories will work with my Stages, so I'm going to order a colander and chopping board since they will fit perfect and are so inexpensive. As I have learned how best to use my sink, I have found the side platform to be invaluable along with the use of the two flip trays. I use the trays to thaw frozen foods and use the large tray flipped over as a cutting board. It's great that these trays are up, out of the sink, so I am using the two levels at the same time and move them out of the way as needed. I have several small colanders that I also use in the bottom of the sink yet still have a cutting board above it-no wasted space. It is amazing how much prep can be done at the same time. I use the Stages very similar to the Galley concept. Regarding the food processor question, it does not impact usage at all. Cleaning and prepping food prior to chopping and then be able to organize clean up without cross-contamination is the most valuable function of these sinks. I put my food processor to the left of my side platform so the cleaned and prepped food can be placed directly in the processor. Frankly, I've had food processors for more than 30 yrs and while they have their place, I prefer the control that hand chopping gives. With the addition of another colander and cutting board that I will purchase at BAI (ci_lantro's link) I will have the perfect setup for the way I cook. I am 100% satisfied with the excellent functionality of the Stages 45 and feel my $1000 investment is well worth it. Cleaning is such a huge part of cooking and this sink works hard! I'll have to take a picture during cooking and post. For those that do not mind spending the $$$$ for the Galley, I do think it will be highly functional, especially if you do a lot of scratch cooking.

My kitchen is surrounded by large windows so maybe that's why I'm able to see so many? Or maybe my guys just consistently rubbed too hard 🙄 Does your kitchen have a lot of natural light coming in from different directions? May be possible you have more but just can't see them. The small section near my stove doesn't get direct light and it's the only spot that looks normal. It's deceiving. Do you know if your fabricators guys have been wiping your counters with acetone or lacquer thinner after they install? That may be why it keeps happening? I've researched literally hours daily, even called other fabricators and it is VERY common for them to wipe the counters off with one of those cleaners to get rid of any epoxy, markings from cut lines, water spots made during fabrication etc. From what I've gathered most brand countertops aren't effected, HOWEVER, I believe Daltile's tops don't react well to it. I was able to recreate the streaks near identical by wiping my scrap piece with acetone and lacquer thinner (if you rub even a little too hard. Didn't take much pressure) I got the last slab in Houston apparently and I don't even know if they have gotten anymore in, so I may be in the same boat as you. I'm like you, the streaks were driving me crazy after saving and hunting down my tops for months. And even though they are gone now, it is annoying me that my top has lost some shine and doesn't look as smooth in raw light. Still debating with myself if it's worth a redo. Keep me updated! I have the built-in Miele coffee machine. Our is a plumbed version so we don't have to fill the water reservoir. You still have to add beans, empty grounds/waste and do maintenance on the machine, such as cleaning and descaling. I don't drink coffee, but DH does and it was the only thing he asked that I include in the kitchen remodel. He seems to be happy with it! I was thinking of one too but the vacuuming was my thought I also have big dogs and so we have not had a rug in our LR since our old dog peed one too many times on our really good rug we did have . That was for about a week before he died poor old guy. We got it cleaned but we also got a new puppy and IMO he would still smell that pee so we never replaced it. I wish I could see a ruggable in person somewhere . I am also worried they will look cheap.
