Need help with furniture placement for my bedroom
Comments (1)Are you the only person who uses this room? Is the only window in the front end? You want your shoes to be on display, correct? How many pair are we talking about here? What is your style? I guess without knowing the answers to my questions, if it were me, I would put the head of the bed against the window rather than on the long wall on either side. Otherwise you will have to walk around the end of the bed to get to the window end of the room. Shoes in an armoire? There are lots of cute shoe storage ideas on Pinterest....See MoreFurniture placement for bedroom
Comments (7)I would place your bed between the two windows and your dresser on the door wall or wall opposite the closet. Is the drawing to scale? Are the windows not centered nor the the bedroom door further to the left?...See Morehelp with master bedroom furniture placement
Comments (2)What is your question really? I mean it is the master bedroom right? Perhaps you work on the closets and get a closet system built in so you can eliminate the dresser. 1. invest in a larger curtain rod and new curtains with more panels to fool the eye with the of center window. 2. possibly turn the tall dresser to go beside the bed and give you some more walking space. 3. work on your closet perhaps find away to add shelves and loose the dresser with the mirror....See MoreSmall bedroom with odd shape in need of help with furniture placement
Comments (6)If you have a better organization system in your closet, and pare down the items that are stored in the room, could you get rid of some of the furniture? Definitely get rid of the TV cabinet and mount it on the wall. Maybe you could get rid of the cabinet beside the closet, or move it elsewhere in the room. We don't have room or furniture measurements so hard to tell, but could it go on the same wall that the green cabinet is on now, but closer to the window? Not sure if it would block access to the bed. I like your headboard and would not replace it. I'd put less art on the walls, not more. For the group of 3 pictures, hang them at the same height and closer together, about the distance of the picture mat or a bit closer. They should "read" as one unit. Unless you use the mirror for dressing/makeup, a piece of art would look better, e.g. the piece that is over the tall dresser, although the formal-looking gold frame doesn't really go with the more rustic look of the room at all. Can you use it in a different room and bring something else in here? The green vase is out of place too. I would fold the checked blanket in half and lay it sideways across the foot of the bed....See MoreRelated Professionals
