Comments (9)This is a classic style that most all leather furniture manufactures offer. Not for sure where PB manufactures, some items say American made while others mention imported. The one thing for sure you will want to look for is a protected leather or aniline plus since you will be using this in a high traffic area. While PB offers supple leathers they are not always protected. Zippers in the seat and back cushions is also a plus as good top grain leather will far outlast the inside fill, so having access to them is critical. I see PB only gives you 2 color options while companies like Bradington Young, Omnia Leather or Mckinley will have hundreds of color choices and should price well within that same price range if you shop at a discount retailer. Also, all of these companies I have mentioned offer seat cushion options. Foam, down or spring seats. Also within their seat backing they will use a channel back fiber fill to keep the fill from settling to the bottom with use. This is a very popular style and with removable seat cushions you can move the seats around the sectional to evenly distribute the wear. Good leather will last for decades so make sure the frame is made well enough to last as long as the leather cover. The brands I have mentioned will....See MoreNeed advice on picking a fabric for Pearce Pottery Barn sectional
Comments (12)I was reading some threads (on here) last night that were talking a lot about pilling and fabric, which once to choose. I'll see if I can find it, but feel free to poke around to see if you can find it. I think I remembering hearing common complaints about pilling and twill, and hearing some good things about everyday suede. How do you feel your sofa has held up? I know it's pilling, but otherwise? I'm thinking of getting a Pearce sectional for my family. We're not hard on our furniture, but still spending $4k is a big investment for us....See MoreSectional, sofa/chaise, or sofa with ottoman??
Comments (6)A 3-seat sofa and two comfy upholstered armchairs are your best bet for comfort and flexibility. Second option would be a reversible chaise sofa and one chair. The chaise that flips from right to left will give you many more options for arranging the room. Cornering furniture eats floor space, and says you don't really have room for your stuff. I would eliminate the cornered armoire or place it where it can lie flat against the wall. Maybe it would be useful in one of the kids' empty bedrooms. That will open the possibility of some window treatments that will soften and cozy the space....See MorePottery Barn Sectional Fabric Choice
Comments (16)Go with the one you're most comfortable with for the usage. You may want to replace in a few years. My two cats would love to get their claws in that fabric! After 3 sofa's I've finally landed on a velvet sofa and chair and they leave these alone :)...See MoreRelated Professionals
