Newly-installed shower doors slightly uneven
Comments (6)Call them back to adjust it. Ours did the same thing and stayed open 3/4" when we let it go. They were able to adjust the bottom plastic flap so that they door would stay wherever we put it. The top shouldn't be a problem either, as the hinges have room to play. The "holes" (ours were actually U shaped cuts) in the glass allow for that. They needed to have the silicone sealer cure before they can do that. -Babka...See MoreInstalling toilet on uneven tile floor
Comments (6)I used the little clear plastic surface protectors that you use on lights, etc. to keep them from sliding. He doesn't appear to even have any building experience, or common sense, having done something so foolish as that. Know that even though something might appear to be alright on the surface, that may not be the case. Good luck....See MoreThere is some uneven spacing on our newly laid bath surround tile...
Comments (9)Thanks! Yeah I think that's what we are thinking at this point. It probably would look really cool to have darker grout, but not worth all eyes being drawn to the imperfections. Our house is quite old and "uneven" therefore perfectly aligned tile has proven difficult in all areas of the home....See MoreUser
