What color of blue to paint my master bath.
We moved into our home 1 year ago. I like the blue in here, but it seems, maybe a too much gray/blue? I think I want to stick with blue. What do you all recommend? As you can see the cabinets are brown and tile on the floor and shower are also brown. They are both a medium brown, not my choice, but that is what was here. We live in the country, the house is 100 years and is a farmhouse look, but has been remodeled. I want a spa like feel. This bathroom has a large window and is on the east side of the house. Any suggestions welcomed. It doesn't have to be blue.

Master bath...what color paint?
Comments (6)Restoration Hardware's Silver Sage is similar to some of the blue/green/grays shown above. It's a chameleon-like color that looks different depending on the light. I have it in two rooms, different light exposure, and love it in both. Of course you could have Benjamin Moore or another paint store mix the shade for you -- you wouldn't have to purchase from RH. Comments (2)BM Super White is just a little too *white* for me; of course people will have a different eye for trim colors. I really like using for customers Decorator's White, White Dove, Aura colors - Frostine and Lychee. Seaborn, as far as the sheen I don't paint gloss or high gloss on trims or doors for the obvious reasons. Semi is as high as I will go. BM gloss level on semi is just right for me. Comments (22)Be careful that there's no blue undertones in the gray grout you choose. I thought we needed a blue undertone but what we chose turned out too blue. Tec Sterling sounds familiar as one we may have been considering when we thought we needed a blue tone. Is MP Mapei? I wouldn't use their product. I heard that tilers don't like it. Comments (7)I was talking about picture #4 in my comment, above. It has the left hex and right (lighter hex) on the floor in the top row before the large format wall tile that I like that spans both the top row and bottom row of floor tiles. Looking again, I might prefer the darker, left side top row hex (beige hex) over the right side hex. It ties the shower floor in better with the existing floor tiles. For the blue cabs, it would help to see the colors next to the counter top photo. I am leaning toward Pool House. It depends on the wall color. Add lots of white fluffy towels and soften your vanity top with a floral arrangement (similar to what is in the insp pic). Remove the clock. Darken the frame around your mirror. Bring in some art for the large empty space above the towel bar. It can be a small-ish piece with large white mat around the art. Local photos are always nice or something that has meaning to you. Accessories are what finishes the spa feeling IMO.
