How old is she? I know kids go through this messy stage, at least my two daughters did, and if you have trained them right, they will eventually get organized and stay that way. The key is having a place for everything. I bet she is overwhelmed now just looking at the room it looks like a ton of work. Start by sorting through her room, with her, to decide what needs to be saved, sold or given away or discarded. Then decide on appropriate storage solutions, with her if she is old enough, so the room doesn't descend into chaos again :) This can be a bonding experience between the two of you.

Since she likes to craft, Im guessing she is creative. I was a creative child & was always into some project. I found labels on assigned places help. I also do well with clear containers to see what is in a box instead of having to pull it all out. An art cart that wheels all my art supplies helps keep it in 1 place. Roll it in a closet or under a table or make it a table with a cloth to conceal. An open table/desk for projects. Explain to her, have your desk clear so you can have space to make crafts. Add a good craft light in that area.

Maybe go through some online photos with her of other girls room to inspire her as a giant art project desiging or decorating her room. Maybe she will start to see it as fun & be inspired. Keep it fun & positive.

Don’t touch it, this is her space if she wants it to look like a pig pen let her. When our kids were growing up we had a rule if the door is shut it is your room if left open it is mine. If is mine we clean together before you do anything else, if it is yours I don’t enter it to get anything including your laundry , which BTW you can do after you are 10 yrs. We had 3 boys all of whom have grown up to be good housekeepers .Organization only works if she wants to be organized.
