Comments (10)Are you trying to say my "broken back" was worth it! LOL I think if definately looks less cluttered. I didn't realize untill I took the pictures, it just had a messy look. I am thinking of getting or making some roman shades for the window. Do you all think something floral would work, since everything is solid colored in the room?...See MoreBig ignorant question-move all fixtures around in bath?
Comments (4)Its not that its hard... but its costly. You have to think about it logically. If the house is on a slab you have to bust concrete to move the drains and the water. We loop the water through the slab to each bathroom to keep from running it overhead in the ceiling because it is sheetrocked. Just "moving" the fixtures in the tub would be a project in itself, and not something I would dive off in unless I was dead set on it. Complete remodels of a bathroom can range in price. You have to factor in the new sheetrock, paint and labor if you decide to completly gut the bathroom. If your wanting to to tackle it shop around and get some quotes from different contractors to see what price is good for you....See MoreThinking of getting this mirror...living room rearrange
Comments (24)Stand where the mirror would be on the wall and look straight ahead. That is the view that will be reflected for the most part in the mirror. What I am thinking is that based on the side and placement, you are going to get part of a window, and then part of the middle space between the windows. Do you have another wall mirror or behind the door mirror that you could prop there temporarily and see what the reflection might be? Even one of those inexpensive $5 door mirrors from K-Mart would do it - not as large, but it would give you some idea. I do mean what I wrote, tho. If YOU love the idea and love the look, then you should do it - it is YOUR space to enjoy!...See MoreWe almost missed tea again!
Comments (18)"I'm going to use my nicer stuff. I'm almost 71. What am I saving it for?" I'm with you on that! That's what I've been doing for a few yrs. This past year, I've been buying things that will make my life easier, safer, more comfortable. This next year, i'm going to buy one of those Roomba vacuums. And I think an air purifier for my bedroom. Living in the desert, I get a lot of sand/dirt that sifts thru when we have sand storms. I think those 2 things will help curb the dog hair and dander too - and make my life easier and more comfortable. In about another month, I'll be looking for a newer car. my mechanic will help me. I'm looking for a Honda CR-V. And i'm stopping the gift buying for the kids and gkids. That'll do away with the wrapping, packing and trips to the PO. I'll have to do something different, like send $s for a pizza night or something. I mailed a pkg out today, the gift cost 20.00 and postage was 15.00 $s! So, I have to stop doing that....See MoreWaxLaxRox
