Is there any hope for this Cyclamens?

It was doing very well up to a month after I bought it. Then one day it just started going droopy and didn't stop. I don't know if I gave it too much water, or if it was because I left it by the sink while the water drained instead of putting it back in its regular spot and it didn't like that. I'm not great with house plants but I want to learn. Its soil is not very moist but it's definitely not dry so I'm holding off giving it water. I've pruned away the dry leaves, which is shown in the second photo. How do I save it? What should I do differently next time?

It has buds coming along. Try placing it in a very cool spot. They dislike a lot of heat. They are tricky to grow. Remove any old soft, dead stems.

Its usual spot seems completely lacking in light which is a problem. They like bright indirect light without a lot of direct sun along with cool temperatures. Based on my experience with these, I think that it might have gotten a bit too dry at some point. They don't like to be soggy, but also don't like to dry out, so when the pot starts feeling a bit light, I put it in a dish and let it soak up water for a while, and then let it drain.

I'm not sure about cyclamen mites, but the common bedding impatiens are very prone to spider mites. The symptoms would be mottling of the new leaves, wilting, eventually visible fine webbing. High humidity helps to control. I use malathion if they start to cause damage. Make sure you positively identify mites before you spray. Your symptoms could be caused by a disease or other pest. Ok well a couple of questions on the pruning. Can you cut back young plants like mine or are you supposed to wait until the plant matures? How far down do you hard prune it? And if you hard prune it ever year won’t that defeat the purpose of privacy since it won’t grow back to the desired height until summer. I thought of letting the tree grow high enough so that it blocks my neighbors view(they’re elevated on a slope) and then take a ladder and prune it but still be able to have privacy even after the pruning. So say like the tree is 15ft. I’ll prune it down to like10ft. Is that a bad idea?

These greenhouse grown florist pot plants need to experience a particular, seasonally varying regime if they are not to end up being thrown away. Try looking for phrases like "cyclamen care" on the web.
