Throw out a color suggestion for my bathroom
Comments (11)I know you said the counter reads more gray than blue, but a lot of times, gray on walls looks blue, that said, I think a deep blue would look beautiful with that counter. Add some white towels and brushed nickel fixtures and it could easily look stunning. Using an enlarged photo of your counter and the Benjamen Moore visualizer, some examples that seem to bring out the color in your counter are BM Solitude, Jame River Gray, Shadow Gray and Blue Springs. These colors may seem dark, but I've seen similar colors used in a smaller space before, and it's really pretty....See MoreBathroom paint color/frame color suggestions needed
Comments (2)I hadn't thought of doing it that way - in any case, I don't know what color rug/towels to use, either! I got some paint samples over the weekend and will try to post photos of the tiles and samples together....See MorePaint color suggestions for my dated beige/almond bathroom
Comments (48)Thank you again to all the people who commented on this post! I wanted to share the "after" picture. I chose Mindful Gray by SW. I tried so many colors, and many grays, and this seemed to work the best. I moved the light fixture higher on the wall and bought a new, larger medicine cabinet from Pottery Barn (I had a gift card and put it to good use). I also installed 2 high hat ceiling lights. I'm very happy with the outcome....overall its not perfect but definitely better than where I started without spending more than a few hundred dollars....See MorePlease suggest an elegant, pretty paint color for my 1/2 bathroom
Comments (5)gold and gray and touches of black actually look quite chic together. If you were to pick a paint color with say, travertine flooring, I'd say "it doesn't go"..but as art and wall color together..to me, it works. Obviously agree with salonva-seeing more of the room will help to picture the space better thus give better suggestions for a new paint color if this one indeed feels wrong....See MoreBebo Matassa
