Where can I find a good quality sectional?
Comments (14)Definitely not high quality but we just bought our leather sectional from Jcpenneys and they have some that fit your description to a T. The ivory track arm style that sits lower to ground but comfortable and not weirdly on the floor as some of these new styles are was simply beautiful. I went for the light tan and its soft as butter and actually very well made. We simply love it. You could spend the money saved on other decorating items. Everyone that sees it compliments on it. Yes, I will get a host of texts after this commenting on Jcpenneys lower quality which I agree but this particular sectional that comes in TONS of optional colors was really my best purchase of 2011. loveeeeeee it....See MoreHow much does a good quality sofa cost?
Comments (40)Julie, I had the same NFMart experience you did. I was completely overwhelmed by the store and DH ended up talking me into a soft Broyhill. DH..."Why are we here if were not going to buy anything?" After 4yrs the wood frame squeaks and it's so uncomfortable I'm always changing sitting positions. Have you been to Crowley Furniture in OP? I think they carry mid-line sofas but their service is excellent. The two sales people that helped me were decorators. It was great to bounce ideas off them, as well as get help with the multitude of fabric choices. If you're adventurous you could try T. Ormans. They advertise high end furniture at wholesale prices. Another overwhelming place for me. Tons of furniture spread out over a 70,000 sq ft building. I think you really have to know what you want before you go. They're only open Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. I do think I'll visit NFM again. Next time I'll go during the week and be armed with a list of brands worthy to look at. I remember the back of the store had an area of higher quality furniture that wasn't prowled by hungry salespeople. Also, every time I try to find a dealer for one of the above mentioned brands it comes back as being carried by NFM. Jennifer...See MoreGood quality sofa that won't break the bank?
Comments (9)I have been selling Lee Industries for years and have not had a single complaint! Many of my customers have Lee sofas that are 15 years old and they just need a new slipcover, but the rest of the sofa is solid. I know that some people on here have issues with the cushions, but most of those people have the down cushions - which will be high-maintenance no matter who makes them (and I don't recommend for most people). Lee sofas have 8-way hand tied suspension and they offer a lifetime warranty on the frame and suspension and 7-years on the cushions. If you buy from a reputable retailer they should rectify any issues quickly. No matter what manufacturer you choose - I recommend an innerspring cushion wrapped in down or fiber - they hold up the best!...See MoreQuality sofa or sectional for $3k - with some specific needs, help!
Comments (5)IMO a good quality 3 seaer sofa and a nice recliner for the 300 lb friend since no matter what you get where he sits will always wear out first and there are recliners made for heavier users. I would look a good leather for the 2 pieces not fake not only leather on the part that touches you but cow hide and all over the piece. It will wear great put a towel where the dog likes to sit dog sweat is hard on even leather....See MoreThe Stated Home
