Comments (18)Hi Casey, I was about to comment that I was afraid that your puzzle would snow me under ... but some of the others would be really difficult, as well. Sue and I parted well over 40 years ago (she died just over ten years ago) ... but I remember that when we'd do a jigsaw puzzle together ... she'd find the right place for about nine pieces ... while I was finding it for about one. ole joyfuelled ... who can be anything else, at this time of year? 6 years agoOk:)...please excuse my sharing this but I came across this painting last week at the National Gallery of Art in D.C. for a Vermeer and Dutch Artists exhibit and found this particular paintings cheekiness quite amusing. It's by Frans Van Mieris called 'Brothel Scene'...it's not just the two-legged visitors who are being entertained.

Nicole, the top one is a southwestern (black bean, corn, avocado) salad that was delicious. Made with fresh corn. The second is a buffalo chicpea salad. These were both made for a Salad Spinoff we had at our Farmers Market just before Thanksgiving. Eight vendors participated. It was great fun!
