OFF TOPIC ..... and Happy New Year!

I just wanted to share a short sentence that
inspired me to try to be better about my approach to life. In fact, I
made an early New Years resolution & started implementing it well before Christmas, so
I'll be preconditioned by the first of the year ...... hopefully.

We're crazzy busy at work, and since my brother/partner isn't working
much, there is a lot of extra pressure on all employees, including me. I
very often get interrupted in the middle of something important, and
because that reliably happens several times every hour of every working
day, I've developed the habit of becoming angry at the interruptions
that are a normal part of work. I might even utter a cuss word aloud or
under my breath now & then.

Before Christmas, someone sent me a long list of things with the potential to make me
a better person (probably a hint - who knows?). All the suggestions on the list were worthy of implementing, but one easy-to-remember phrase seemed so positive, it made me want to share: "I'm too blessed to be stressed." I
don't really COUNT my blessing, but I regularly remind myself during occasional quiet
periods of introspection that, like most of us, I am much more fortunate
than soo many other souls of the world. I think it would serve me
better if I put that phrase to use when I feel myself reaching the
boiling point. So, when frustration strikes and emotions spike, I'm
going to try to use that phrase as a reality check. "I'm too blessed to be stressed!" Hmmmm - Now I'm almost thinking I might need to use it as a mantra and put it on loop setting.

If you've read the above and got this far, why not let us know about anything in your life you count as a blessing?

Al
