WEIRD SPOTS!!! All over my bedroom please help!

I first noticed it on my dresser and didn't think much of it but then I saw it on a shoe box that was new and now it moved onto my computer case?!. It is really strange, I just want to know what it is and why it's spreading. Please if anyone can help and tell me how to prevent/stop it! (I hope it's actually nothing serious and I can laugh at my over reaction lol)

Comments (10)Hi Happy, Hopefully, the experts on the forum will look at the photos and give advice. In the meantime, I looked at the photos. It does appear that there was some type of chemical cleaning spray used in the office that may have gotten onto your plants. Would it be possible that there was a janitorial service that came in over the holiday break and did some spray cleaning? Suggest you might want to wash off the leaves and carefully dry them. Were there any blooms on the plants? Also, is there any possibility that the night cleaning crew is going around and watering your plants without your knowledge? That happened in my office. Once we realized what was going on, we asked the office cleaners not to water the AV personal plants. Perhaps you can take them home to recover if you have a place to isolate them. They don't look like goners. The spots seem isolated, like some chemical sprayed on them. But I am no expert. Glad you posted the photos to ask the Forum. Just one other thought, does the office use any pesticide? I discovered that a lot can go on in an office at night, the plants will be the first tell-tale sign of chemical usage. Comments (11)New construction and we actually had already painted these rooms! It had been at least three weeks since the final coat on the drywall in the bedroom, and 6 weeks in the kitchen. It is very disheartening when the end seems to be in sight and then this starts. I am very scared it is going to happen all over the place. They were finishing the main floor before they start on the basement, so they will be around for awhile. Comments (19)If you take out that one wall, there is still the issue of where to place the bed. Do you have measurements or a floor plan of the suite? I wonder...what if you actually extended the right-hand wall, and moved the doorway to the left? Then you could place the bed with the head against the wall. Or...how long is the wall between the bedroom door and the little niche? Is it long enough to be a doorway, and close up the existing doorway? Comments (21)I think you’re going to need a bit of contrast or the room will fall completely flat. Dove is a white but a crisp white will still give you a cleaner feeling in there. Since you want a monochromatic room you’re going to have to use as much contrast however slight you can and a ton of texture. For drapery panels i would do a linen with texture and hang them all the way to the ceiling....See More
