Rubber plant tree wilting but not dying? Help please!

Hey everyone! I have a small rubber tree plant that I've had for maybe three months. It was initially thriving but recently (past three or four weeks?) the leaves have wilted. It is in a place of bright but indirect sunlight and I don't think I overwatered it for it to become this way. I moved it to a larger pot, thinking that the one i had before was too small, but now i am afraid it's too big??? The plant's stem looks withered, but you can see there's a little recent growth down at the bottom of the plant. What's the diagnosis, fellow plant people? Help is majorly appreciated.
