Comments (11)Oh my, he is so darned cute. You're right, blueiris, he'd be the perfect playmate for Dad's Zinger, the Devil Dog. Congratulations, cabogirl, on the new addition. I love it when people adopt the shelter dogs, I don't dare look or I'd have a dozen. Sigh. Annie...See More2015 Spring Fling/Swap
Comments (164)Thank you, Sorie! Just think, this time tomorrow I'll be on my way to being able to eat a thick slice of Cherokee Purple without fear! Crazy, right? It's a little after nine this evening in my little slice of Heaven. IT'S RAINING! Just in time to water all the garlic, seedless blackberry, Echinacea, bee balm, Orange Daylillies, iris, comfrey, paperwhites, ornamental peppers and lambs ear along with freshly sown seeds of Caserta Zuch, yellow straigtneck, dark star zuch, radishes of French Breakfast and Cherry Bell along with a vast assortment of lettuce and spinach in my "greens" table! Still have to plant a few maters, peppers and cardinal vine but they're watered and tucked under the back patio cover until I can get to them next weekend (I'm being quite the Optimist, huh?), As long as you guys keep leaving all these wonderful leftovers, we'll be hard-pressed to find a reason to quit hosting! (I'm also the lucky one that got the leftover Turkey Pastrami from okoutdoorsman!) Oh wait.....that's part of the enabling. Sheesh....I thought I'd been here long enough to be immune..... Comments (22)yes, that is why the pic with Jesus. where should he keep all of his awards and stuff? in a box in the attic? I doubt even if that was ok with him, that it would be with Candy. He worked long and hard to make his mark in the world - and did he ever! I'm glad his mom lived to see his success. While those aren't homes or décor I'd want to live in, I'm glad for him and Candy if it's what they want. the new home is probably as it was when bought. honestly, I'd get tired just thinking about redoing those houses. that one in FL is spectacular! but I'd get lost in it... and would need a scooter / go cart to get around from room to room. I'd want a driver too....See MoreMN Vikings. Wish I could get THIS years pic.....;-)
Comments (18)Faron, oh yes, Philly is the place to be for history!! Elfreth's Alley, oldest street in America circa 1702!! burial place of Ben Franklin, of course the liberty bell, Constitution Center is awesome, Reading Terminal Market, Betsy Ross's House and so much more. Olde City is awesome. Its also a fantastic food city!! you could easily do a week in the city and surrounding suburbs. Valley Forge National Park is spectacular! if you ever do make the trip, come in the Fall, weather is usually perfect for outdoor sightseeing. oh yeah, we definitely jumped on the Bison band wagon!! Nice, will definitely check out that game!! going to be single digits and wind chill below zero here on Saturday, so i will be home for sure!! that's awesome that u were at those games!! that's dedication, i tip my helmet to you!! yes, i heard about that comeback drive. he is so dedicated that i feel pretty confident that he will make a full recovery. it would be so devastating if he doesn't recover. he is such a special talent, would be a shame for him especially and the game itself if he doesn't showcase his talents in the NFL. enjoy wildcard weekend!!...See Morediane_nj 6b/7a
