Comments (2)It is a Kalanchoe and I believe it is tomentosa. Got this from Guide-to-houseplants: Kalanchoe tomentosa [1] or panda plant, also known as pussy ears and chocolate soldier, is a succulent plant in the genus Kalanchoe. A native of Madagascar, it is a fairly popular houseplant on account of its small size, ease of care, and dark-red rimmed foliage Panda Plant Care Tips Origin: Madagascar Height: Up to 1 ft (30 cm) indoors Light: Bright light to full sun. Put this succulent in a bright location year-round. If you move it outdoors for the warm months, move it gradually into full sun to avoid scorching its leaves. Water: Water thoroughly, allowing the top 1 in (2.5 cm) to dry out between waterings. Humidity: Average room humidity Temperature: Average room temperatures 60-75°F/16-24°C Soil: Cactus potting mix. Fertilizer: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted by half. Propagation: Take leaf cuttings in spring or early summer. Succulent cuttings root easily in moist sandy mix or perlite....See MoreDoes anyone know what kind of succulent this is?

Comments (3)Thank you for answering! :) However it seems that the watermelon peperomia has lighter leaves and darker veins - the opposite of what our plants have here. But I think I finally found the right peperomia! It seems that our mystery plant is Peperomia maculosa. They definitely have darker green leaves with lighter veins, and the shape looks about right too. :)...See MoreDoes anyone know what kind of succulent this is?
Comments (4)Hi, I have this same plant. It was my first plant and is the reason I'm so into succulents. It's much taller than when I got it, maybe 5 inches. I've been having some slightly similar problems lately. I know to water it when it wrinkles, but lately it has been wrinkled more and more to the point where some leaves have shriveled up and died. I tried to water it more often, but then other leaves appeared yellow as if overwatered. I cut off all of the unhealthy and shriveled leaves, and things have improved slightly. Ewwmayo, would you say that this is a result of poor/diseased soil and root damage also? Does anyone have any tips for what might be done? The stem towards the bottom of the plant has become shriveled and tan and dry, while at the top where new growth is occurring, the stem is purple and fleshy, like Marla's plant above....See MoreFlora C
