Unknown Helenium (Sneezeweed) Species

Last May, I found a few Helenium colonies in southwestern Arkansas that were similar to H. flexuosum, but had significant differences. Some of the ray flowers were fertile, most of the plants had multiple stems from the base, and the ligules turned from yellow, to orange, red, and then maroon as they aged. These plants may be a new species or previously unknown hybrid. In any case, they are gorgeous specimens. I should be able to collect a few leaves this coming season for DNA analysis, which will lock down the ID.
