Do these patterns complement each other?
Comments (18)Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm the most indecisive person and your comments really helped me make the final decision! Here is a pic of the curtain pattern. I did a test with the yellow paint on the wall near the curtains and I love the combo of dark red and yellow. Like I said, I will stick with the curtains for now, even if they do clash a little with the striped couch I'm getting; they were expensive and I can't afford new ones on my budget I have. I also thought, as one person suggested, of make one of the couches the floral print, but I think I just like the chair as the floral print....See MoreDo these clash or compliment each other?
Comments (16)The stone/floor looks GREAT but I see a MASSIVE PROBLEM with the paint. I see PINK! If my monitor is correct, this is going to be SUPER NASTY! Go ahead and work with a crisp white or a white with a hint of YELLOW in it. But not too much. You don't want too much yellow being thrown around. I'm sorry but the Creamy SW is FAR TOO PINK for your other choices. But the stone/flooring are a lovely match....See MoreKnocking each other out....Yellow beige versus Pink beige
Comments (9)Given a yellowish ceiling and a pink-beige floor (and the brown trim) what paint color do I choose without creating a clash between these two colors ? Orange. Also known as (YR) Yellow-Red in my world. The pink and yellow don't relate to each other as a pair because the geometry is off. A quick look at a color wheel will show you how to fix any color combination that doesn't look right or looks like it's missing something. In the case of pink and yellow, something is missing. And that's a bridge color to link the two. In this case it's colors from the orange (YR) hue family. The geometry of a color wheel applies to all colors, purely saturated, tints, tones, shades, near neutrals - all of 'em are included....See MoreLooking to purchase nightstands and rug to complement look and feel
Comments (14)Can you tell us how high your mattress is? That would help because the night stands need to be an inch or two within that height. Could you look through Houzz for bedrooms with black iron beds and save some photos of looks that appeal to you. In looking at what you have saved so far, I can’t see a trend toward a color? Sometimes finding a rug you love or a piece of art helps drive other choices. Right now all I see and hear is light and beige. Sounds like you are fearful of color?
