I'm always amazed at the lengths you guys and ladies go to grow citrus in colder climates. Great job and it's nice y'all can have blooms year round...perfect air freshener! My trees are outside in-ground and I'm actually on the border of a climate where I can do citrus in-ground so I have to cover even a few of my bigger trees on really cold nights....mid to low 20s.

We are still getting temperatures in the low 70s so I took advantage of the nice weather to pick off the ripest fruit from my calamondin. It's about 16ft tall so I'm entitling the following photo "After the Low-Hanging Fruit is Harvested"

I made jam with a mixture of calamondin, lemon, and tangerine. I tried to make too much in a batch and it didn't set good but it's tasty! My house smells WONDERFUL now after all the slicing and cooking and I wish I could take a picture of the aroma. Since I can't photograph the aroma, I'll let you use your imagination with a little help from this closeup of the calamondins I'm slicing now to juice and freeze in ice trays.
