Master bedroom- color/rug help
Comments (9)I would definitely NOT do the walls in that color, or the rug. It is a beautiful duvet, and you want it to pop, not blend in. For the walls and rug, I'd pull from the gray/blue that is in the duvet, not the gold/yellow. Don't worry about the wood color. Anything will work where the floor and beams are concerned. For instance, I have the orangey pine floors and beams all over my house, and I have cool colors on the walls. In particular, the Van Courtland Blue I have in one room that has pine floor, beams AND ceiling actually really made the wood GLOW gorgeously, much better than before, when the prior owner had BM Antique White on the walls....See MoreHelp Find a Suitable Rug for Master Bedroom

Comments (12)I was definitely think the white curtains/sheets! Can definitely pull the duvet back. And get 3 white Euro shams! I have 3 Euro shams with the same paisley pattern from the duvet (Charlie Paisley from Pottery Barn). Love the patter but ready for a change! I can definitely move the tall dresser to another room. We also added a master closet with a built-in shelving system. Trying to keep all of my clothes in the closet. Where is your favorite place and brand for white shams and a white quilt? Out dog does not get on the bed. Used to, but tore her ACL about 4 years ago and we didn’t want to risk her hurting it again. So nice not having dog hair all over the sheets! Thanks for the suggestion about letting the beams be the focus of the room! Won’t put anything above the bed....See MoreRug for master bedroom - need help
