Comments (25)les - That's a great idea to put pictures or a sconce in the middle. I'm not sure I would have ever thought of that. sallymo - Thank you for the mockup. It makes such a difference in the room. I was wondering if the 8" on the left would throw things off. The main reason I was thinking of putting one panel on each end is I hate to cover more of the window than I have to, but I do want what looks best. Is there any way you can remove the two inside panels so I can see what one on each end would look like? Here's a picture of the fireplace wall and I have a similar issue there, because there's only 6" to the left of the window. I was thinking about putting one panel on the left side and if this will work, I thought about leaving the end cap off and having the curtain go all the way to the wall on the left. What do you think? Several people in my neighborhood have a similar setup with the windows and I haven't seen any of them hang curtains. Now I know why. lukkiirish - If I go with all covers, that would make it much easier to store the ones I'm not using. The blue ones I posted above don't give me the option of covers...just the pillows. Now, if I strictly buy pillow covers from PB that would work....See MoreWill Revere Pewter go with Pottery Barn walnut sofa?
Comments (2)imo, Revere Pewter would not be quite the color I would choose with the brushed walnut canvas. It can appear to be somewhat of a "cool" color. Is the trim stained or painted? My trim is stained & I think that is the reason I've never liked Revere Pewter in my breakfast area as it leans more toward gray (so it clashes with the stained trim). What about BM Mancester Tan...love the color & goes with a lot....See MoreOpinions of the Pottery Barn Carmel Sofa?
Comments (17)I couldn't make up my mind on the fabric and ended it buying the Quick Ship option Warm White Denim which was on sale at the time for $1500. I figured if I hated it I would just send it back which is an option on the in stock furniture minus the shipping fees. The sofa ended up looking great in my family room so I kept it. I was leaning torward the Performance Brushed Basketweave for its softness but was hesitating because I thought the oatmeal color was a tad too dark and the lighter color Ivory was too yellowish. I later found out my neighboor has that fabric on her sofa and is very happy with it, no pilling issues and she has two dogs that sleep on it. I see now the Carmel Quick Ship option comes in the Everyday Linen which is a very durable fabric but not soft by any means, but it would be my choice for a quick delivery. I have read a lot of positive reviews on that fabric. Also, I have a Gideon chair in Perfomance Heathered Tweed Ivory which is a very soft fabric and looks really good on the chair but I can't speak for durability as we don't sit on the chair very often, but it would be one I would consider on a sofa. I hope this helps......See MoreLeslie Saini Rayasam
